Web Digital Development — Terms & Conditions
By using this website or hiring us for a project, you agree to these terms.
About us: Web Digital Development is a sole-proprietorship registered in Delhi, India. Our registered address is Palam, New Delhi — 110045. Our contact email is support@webdigitaldevelopment.in.
Proposals and invoices: Proposals are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Projects begin after we receive 50% advance payment. The remaining 50% is due on project handover unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Scope: Each project has a written scope (number of pages, features, integrations). Anything outside that scope is billed at our standard hourly rate (shared in your proposal).
Timelines: We commit to realistic timelines but they're estimates. Delays caused by us are our problem — we'll absorb them. Delays caused by you (slow feedback, late content, payment delay) extend the timeline accordingly.
Intellectual property: On full payment, you own the final deliverables — design files, code, content we wrote for you. We retain the right to display the project in our portfolio and case studies. You can opt out of portfolio display by emailing us before project starts.
Warranties: We warrant our work contains no malicious code, follows industry best practices, and matches the agreed scope. We do not warrant that the website will rank #1 on Google, achieve a specific revenue, or work on browsers older than the latest two versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox.
Liability: Our maximum liability for any claim related to a project is limited to the amount you paid for that project. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or punitive damages.
Third-party services: We use Cloudinary, Resend, MongoDB Atlas, Vercel, Google services. Their terms also apply when we use them on your behalf.
Termination: Either side can terminate a project at any time. If you terminate, you pay for work completed up to that point. If we terminate (rare — usually only for non-payment or scope abuse), we refund any unworked-on advance.
Governing law: These terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi.
Changes to terms: We may update these terms. Active projects are governed by the version of terms in effect when their proposal was accepted.
